DescriptionWhen I started collecting OA, I never thought that I would actually own an original from Sam Kieth. I just honestly really admired seeing them, and still do. So it would be fair to say that this piece serves as somewhat of a milestone in my collection. I wouldn't go as far to say that this is a grail for me, because that would be an interior from Sam Kieth's MCP Blood Hungry run. However this is the first official purchase I have made from Albert Moy, and one that I will not forget. I was ecstatic when I opened this package up and looked at the art in person.I love the fact that this cover has multiple mounted alien/monster creatures on display. Let's just say I'm a fan of such content. It allows you to see Sam's imagination at play. Also the beautiful 1800's era fashion design for both characters really adds to the piece. It's such a wonderful contrast to a bunch of chopped off monster heads. This Nemesis cover was done in 1989 and you can definitely see some of the art style and technique that later appears in that epic MCP run. He put some great detail in those heads too! Here is a link to Sam Kieth's blog where he talks about the process for this cover. It's funny to note that the little dot mounted on the plaque is his favorite. https://samkieth.blogspot.com/2011/10/nemesis-covers-sketchbook-stuff.html A sincere thank you to Mr. Albert Moy! 14”x19” Social/Sharing |

Incredible score Tyler! It ticks all the right boxes you could want in a Kieth piece. It's remarkable how early on his style was formed. Congrats!

Evokes Clive Barker novel illustrations for me, Kieth is so multifaceted!

A great trophy for the wall. Stylistically unique vision by Kieth with creature designs that aren't too far off from the design of the man's elongated head. The only one not disfigured is the lady who is more bewildered than impressed.

Congratulations on getting a Sam Keith original cover! What a grail! Keith is a unique talent and this beautiful cover shows why he is so amazing. The cover is evocative of his Sandman art while being completely new. I'm very happy for you, my friend!

Huge congrats, man! This is all kinds of awesome...so much to pore over. Some impressive pure illustration in that Keith style, but not super leaned into. Great lighting effect, too. Suh-weet, indeed. Congrats!

Love how much range this page has, which is all you could ever want from an artist who can do it all. You can tell he had a lot of fun with this.

A great cover (and likely more affordable than any Kieth MCP covers)
