Amazing Spider-Man vol 6 #36 pg 18 by McGuinness, 2023 --- Re-Po goes after Rek-Rap!!

DescriptionLast week I posted the two pages previous to this one, where Rek-Rap and Spidey come upon Re-Po in his human form, and then they watch as Re-Po's true monstrous demonic self erupts from the human's chest and proceeds to devour Doctor Octoball.Here on this page we see Rek-Rap's comical reaction to the whole thing, though Spidey seems rather unshaken. There is some funny dialogue where Spidey says "Octoball is a bad guy. I'm sure he's not gonna do that to you." At which point Re-Po turns to the two of them and says "Okay, Rek-Rap, now I'm gonna do that to you." Rek-Rap tries to hide behind Spidey, but somehow Re-Po still grabs him and starts pulling him towards his gaping maw. Uh-oh! What will happen next? Stay tuned !! Social/Sharing |

Man, oh man, I'm starting to think you bought the entire issue haha! Groovy page as always; this has definitely been a bizarre Spidey tale.

Thanks for the comment! I was very fortunate to be able to grab all the Rek-Rap/Re-Po pages from the issue (and there are two pages left!). It definitely has been a bizarre Spidey tale. And it continues in the next two issues! (some of which I'll be sharing in the new year).

This is more wild than Spidey Super Stories! Great writing for comedic effect! Spider-Man continuity may never be the same again!

I gave him the nickname of Bagleyman but Rek-Rap man seems as though it would work too! Nice page!!!

There's room in my heart for both Bagley and Rek-Rap. Now ... if Bagley ever DRAWS Rek-Rap, and I am lucky enough to acquire some of that art, I'll be Mark-Rek-Rap-Bagley-Man.

Just love how you're going all in on this Rek-Rap stuff. If McGuinness was smart, he'd do another 50 issues of this just so he can keep you in his back pocket buying it up. LOL

And I used to think the Impossible Man was the wierdest character in Marvel Comics! Now we're got Rek-Rap and Re-Po! Bizarre but disturbingly funny page by Ed McGuinnness and Mark Farmer!

Just top to bottom expressions galore, even the fully masked Spidey! McG giving Kevin Maguire a run for his money here :) Love that final splashy shot with the circle inset Spidey head shot panel - effective stuff! Congrats!
