Wow, I still can't get over how early on Liefeld was already having his pencils left uninked on the same board! By the way, Simon, you once said you were collecting art during the 90's because it was affordable, which is true (relatively speaking), but Liefeld art was considered VERY expensive back then, so you clearly were buying some highwer end pieces as well!

Ruben,
I don't typically reveal what I paid for my pages. Initially, because it could inhibit future sales. But also, it might drive some collectors cra-cra, to disover just how insane today's pricing is. However, for you brother...I will make an exception. I picked up this cover in October of 2008...for just $600. Then, I took it to a local Con (probably Portland), where Rob signed it...for FREE! That was before artists and collectors outpriced this industry/hobby.

Well, to be clear, I wasn't looking for you to reveal prices. I understand hobby ettiquette very well and don't ever ask people that question. However, I think I may have erred. I saw the title of the comic and the individual words "Onslaught" and "Reborn" immediately made me think this and the other uninked Liefeld piece were from the 90's. Hence why I keep saying how shocked I am that some of this work is uninked. I thought this stuff was from around 1996. But if I'm finally understanding it all, the two pieces are actually from comics published in the 2000's, right?

Ruben,
Don't seat it. If I didn't mind revealing the price...I could have easily sent that information to your email.
As for the comic - Onslaught Reborn was published in February of 2008.

Yeah, no worries, and thanks. Clearly I did get my Liefeld comics confused. Have a wonderful New Year's Eve!
