Description

My love for Jeff's art started the moment my fifteen-year-old self cracked open a Legionnaires book with his work in it. I still remember how cool it was when I clicked into my first ever Dueling Dealers episode (episode 18, I think?) and saw that he was in the YouTube chat. Living in Canada and not having much opportunity to travel, I thought I'd never really get the chance to properly chat with him, but that all changed when he started doing WhatNot livestreams! Now I can bother him with all my Legion-related questions from the comfort of my own home!

This is the first commission I ever got from him, and it's still one of my favourites! I had never actually watched an artist draw a commission for me before this, and it was really something to be able to watch it all take shape. It's also significant because the WhatNot stream I commissioned this in was the first one where Jeff was offering sketch cards in full colour (as opposed to his regular grey-toned cards), and that's when I knew I had to get one.

Also, a big thanks to Seamus O, Jason Murdock, and Jeffrey C for not only suggesting that I needed a CAF avatar, but for suggesting I make it one of my Moy sketch cards. This one was the obvious choice, and it's really grown on me!

Update: as of February 2025, this sketch card has now been published in Jeff's 2025 "You Asked For It - In Colour!" sketchbook!
