Definitely one of the most striking covers in his Detective and Batman runs. It's not a key issue, but it's made special by Neal Adams incorporating the comic panel sequence that made comics so unique amongst the other types of illustration he was involved in. The emotion across the entire cover is there with the supernatural feel of Robin's death. I like that Maikowsky's inks are so fresh and shiny.

Thanks! And to be honest I'm not thrilled with the photo as the flsh used brings up ink contrasts that are invisible to the naked eye. Will have redone someday soon and update photo. It looks even better live is my point!
