Description

My first major commission and it couldn�t have been more outstanding. Matteo did an incredible job with this one and I was lucky enough to watch him work on it at LCCAF 2024. I�m a sucker for snow and rain so after seeing his previous work with it, I knew exactly what to ask for.

Tim Sale is perhaps my favorite artist and now that you mentioned it, I do see certain artistic similarities and maybe that's what drew me to Matteo's work in the first place.

Wow! I love the use of negative space for the snow and the incredible cityscape in the background. Mateo is a master!

Such a masterful illustration. Matteo posted progress photos on his Instagram. It's so fascinating to see how he builds up the illustration. He functions more like a painter than a typical penciller/inker. Huge congratulations!

The art seems simultaneously precise and fuzzy. Like previously said, it's a nice spin with the Dark Knight on watch in a snowstorm. Congratulations!
