DescriptionNever in my dreams would I have imagined that I could own these covers. Turns out Jon Berk had them all this time and that's why I couldn't find them.Elflord was not a the best drawn comic, but at the time that it came out - I was crazy about it. Today this title still holds nostalgia for me, and am super delighted to have been able to score two Elflord covers both of which have been on my want/dream list for some time. If you are a fan of this series, let me know. It would be great to meet others who feel as strongly as I do. I am still looking for a bunch of other 80s indy art. Check out my want list. I got caught in the indies in the 80's as well (God do I wish I would have bought Marvel or DC bronze comics with that money) and THIS is one of the most memorable covers. Had multiple copies of this baby and while the comic is forgettable this cover is fantastic. Bravo!

Wow, great memories! I actually CAN'T call myself a fan of the series, as I only bought it because I was buying almost every new independent title coming out back them. But let me sincerely congratulate you, for being the very first CAF member other than myself who I've ever seen be honest with himself about the quality of the art, rather than let nostalgia blind you as it does everyone else. Nostalgia can be a wonderful thing, but it should never be used as an excuse for fans to keep their rose colored glasses permanently on their faces and claim how great the art is. There's nothing wrong with being able to recognize and admit that the art in comics you loved as a kid isn't all that good. Blair was still far better than the artists who pumped out crap like Pre-Teen Dirty Gene Kung-Fu Kangaroos and other ridiculous titles from the black and white book, though. Congrats on the acquisition!
