I don't have this in hand yet, but I was able to place a pre-commission order for OAX from my friend JG Jones. I saw Jeff post this a few days before the show and had a feeling it might be for me! I love his watercolor work and I can't wait to see these colors in person!

Sadly, the week before the show my father-in-law was admitted to the ER with covid/ pneumonia so I had to cancel my trip to the show to be close to home, not knowing how his condition would turn. The morning of the show he sadly passed away from complications.

Even though I wasn't able to attend the show I had some great friends step up and pick up my pre-arranged commissions for me. Based on the great quality of the pieces I was able to arrange, this is turning out to be the Best convention I didn't have the chance to attend.

Big shout out to my friends Jeff Hartnett, Rob Frey and Robert Lee for picking up the pieces for me! I am grateful for each of you!

I am completely blown away by this piece! From the time I saw it posted online I couldn't wait to see it in person to study both the subtleties and vibrancy of color of it. I can't wait to see Jeff in person to tell him how much I love this piece!

This looks as great as if Jones did a New 52 styled cover for Marvel.

Jones has been a master illustrator/painter for decades now. And this gem shows he's lost none of his powers.

Sorry to hear about your father in law.

I saw this and was immediately jealous as I had provided a few choices for Jeff. One was a Black Widow and another was the Scarlet Witch.

Jeff had already done both and of course neither of those were mine! Such a fantastic piece.
