Description

Julian provided beautiful variant covers for the current Wonder Woman run by Tom King and Daniel Sampere. The final published images almost look painted, but these covers were done in pencil and then finished and colored digitally. I'm a sucker for the Alex Ross designed gold armor, so I'm happy to have been able to pick this one up.

It's funny how Graphite can convey the golden sheen of that armor better than if it was color. It's also got a bit of a Vertigo bent to it. Enjoyable composition!

Right artist for the right subject! The soft pencils give her a more legend and myth look.

Stunning cover from Tedesco. It works well in color but works great in it's original pencils too!
