With the release of the 2023 Animated Film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem I was able
to rediscover my love and appreciation of my favorite �Heroes in a Half Shell. � The film was an absolute joy and one of my favorite films of 2023.
During the summer I took a deep dive into the IDW TMNT book written by Tom Waltz and Kevin Eastman and I have been enjoying it immensely. It captures what I loved about the characters and premise while adding an elegant sophistication and never forgetting what it is. My favorite artist from the series was Mateus Santolouco. I loved his style and designs for the Turtles.
Because I was late to the party most of his pages featuring the Turltes are already in other collectors collections. So when this piece was listed on Cadence I leapt at the chance. It beautiful in person I love the detail and technique Santolouco incorporates into this illustration. I hope to grab the right published page in the near future.

Liking that more subdued calm expression for Leo here...works perfectly. Also some great tonal work, and the blue in his sash really pops. Congrats!
