Description

I know, I know, I already HAVE a Hembeck card with this version of Brainy on it... But! This Brainy has a different pose and a different hairstyle! And, if you want to get really technical about it, this works out perfectly, since I want to have full Hembeck collections of both the Silver Age Legion designs and the Cockrum/Grell-era designs, and Brainy wore the same costume in both eras. And if you want to get really, REALLY technical, my other Brainy card is actually drawn more like Silver Age Brainy, with a looser jumpsuit and shorter hair, while this one is much more reminiscent of how Mike Grell drew him, with longer hair and a tighter jumpsuit. I'm really happy with how perfectly the differences match up with the different eras, and I think it would be neat if Hembeck actually chose to include the differences on purpose (I wouldn't put it past him!).
