And also "fair play", in both the literal and Irish/Scottish sense. You posted this on the Quitely board on Facebook notifying a lot of potential buyers, and certiantly bumped the price up against yourself. That's an honorable and Superman'esk approach to collecting that many of us greedy collectors don't have. Well done, Chuck, this piece couldn't have found a better or more deserving home.

But of course you got it! Well done, congrats on another painted Quitely! Despite some misgivings, it has all of Vin's distinctive hallmarks!

Nice Chuck! Big congrats! Great win and I for one, never doubted this piece. It's a fantastic example.

Thanks, Jason, I didn't either, but it was interesting to hear the debate. In case there was any doubt I have it from Quitely himself: "I saw it online and it was so low res that I wasn't 100% sure, but I suspected it was mine, but now that I'm seeing a higher res image it's def me."

It's better that you sing it before I do. Much better when you get a piece in hand that inspires you to be creative.

Looked at it again and again and into every details I have to admit it's the best Superman painting I ve seen in the past years...at least in my personal opinion!

I mean when I think "Superman" Quitely's rendition is one of the few that initially comes to mind. Love the colors here! Congrats!

This is really great Chuck, congrats. I like this more than many of Quitely's published peices and it's an exceptional commission compared to others I have seen by him.
