Descriptioni love me some Tim Sale. after Daredevil Yellow i was sucked into anything he did. when When in Rome was coming out i remember reading this page and right away emailing his rep if this page was available. he hadn't listed it yet and said no one else had asked for it yet so sure.its the riddler trying on catwoman's costume and getting caught. i thought this was the perfect page and i'm so lucky to have it. its one of those you can stare at for hours. the ink wash is brilliant. plus its freaking funny. it came unsigned but i was lucky enough to get it signed when i met him soon after at sdcc.... i was also able to get my daredevil yellow page signed and grab a commission from him. Unfortunately it was the last time I remember meeting him. Not sure if that’s when he stepped away from comics to do heroes but I don’t remember seeing him around after this. Social/Sharing |
