DescriptionIn an indication of how the comic art pantheon works, I went from 0 examples of one of my favorite 90's artists to 3 pieces in the space of 8 weeks. This one's particularly special in that it’s from Adam’s first issue of the book, taking over from Tony Daniel. It was a wild artistic departure from the aesthetic of the time that I was absolutely floored by.In the last page splash of the book (there's an epilogue page after this one), we see the team in the full debut of their new uniforms. Warpath, Caliban, Sunspot, Shatterstar, Boomer, Cable and Domino are all present and posed up. The first caption is the end of Canonball's farewell letter to Cable as he graduates to the main X-Men team. The rest of it indicates the transition to a new era for X-Force. S-T-O-K-E-D! A wicked awesome assembly splash with a gorgeous message proving Pollina's beginning was as much a new tomorrow as X-Force will be. Congrats on this well pencilled as inked score frosted with mad-heart!

I remember seeing this splash in the comic years ago and loving it. Pollina's work was phenomenal on the book and definitely a change. Congrats on this great example.
