DescriptionThis Page is absolutely a stunner! Full Figure Eddie Brock. Close-up Panel of Eddie mid-transformation. Full Figure Venom without his tongue!!! And a HUGE Half Page (more like 60%) Splash Panel. I dig it. Here's the story of how I acquired it:So Indiana Comic-Con 2024 was my first Comic-Con. I went for the artists (Mark Bagley, John Beatty, & Dexter Vines) and meet Dan (D.G.) Chichester, the writer of recent Daredevil: Black Armor mini-series. I browsed 6, maybe 7 Comic Dealer Booths all weekend. I'm glad I found this Bagley Page! I only browsed 1 box at this booth when I saw a Portfolio sticking out between 2 BCW Slab Boxes that I could see the words "ORIGINAL" written on. I inquired "Is that Original Art???" Them: "Yes, it is." *me flipping through it* My eyes locked in to this page! My one friend has been searching left & right for Bagley Venom Published Pages. I initially took a photo to send to him and see if he wanted it. He'd just copped a page earlier that week though. Here's where the story gets juicy. I asked Scott (the owner) if he'd consider a Slab Trade, like 10 (heavily in his favor), for this 1 Page. They weren't with me though. I told them and I'd send them photos with a list before the next day, cuz the last thing I wanna do is lug in 10 Slabs and then have to leave with them. So that was Saturday. I wake up at 4 AM Sunday morning, anxious as can be, and started piecing together my deal. I sent them an e-mail with few Slabs listed, and waited for a reply. When I got into Signatures & Slabs in 2020, I also got into collecting Retailer Exclusive Variants. I'm over them now and collect Original Art (praise Odin), but I still have a good amount of Graded Comics. I got my reply. My offerings were a lil too modern & his clientele isn't really into Variants, which I understand. I tell him I was not hoping for a straight trade, but we'll talk when I get there. 3 Keys' website says they buy Funko Pops (which the market has crashed heavily on due to the influx of all the Chinese Fakes) and I saw a few Pokémon binders next to the Slabs at their Booth. I grab about 11 Funko Pops that aren't fodder, a couple sealed Charizard Champion's Path ETBs, and an Avengers Endgame 27x40 DS Official Movie Theater Poster I had doubles of that I'd been saving for something, and this was that something! Thank the comic gods I had a foldable handcart! I had to take multiple trips out to my car. I realize 13 miles down the road I forgot my big 'ol box of Slabs!!! Oh, the horror. And I was not turning around. Turns out, 3 Keys Comics does NOT buy Funkos anymore cuz so many have plummeted in value. I've never seen another Collectibles Market crash due to fakes. I tell them I want it and I'll be back...So now I gotta hustle and bustle! Clan McDonald Comics (Steve, Riley, & Colin) were at Indy Comic-Con as attendees. I asked Riley if his Dad was around cuz I was tryna sell that Endgame Poster. That piqued Riley's interest and his eyes lit up. "I want it." His Dad was doing his one live stream of the weekend with Camron Johnson, so Riley said come back in a bit. I walked by him 15 minutes later and he said "SAVE IT!" TLDR: Steve bought it for Riley. Thanks Steve! I literally ended up selling everything I brought, INCLUDING my Funko Pop Black Panther backpack I came with! I got my Page! What's also cool is I also had Commissioned Mark Bagley for a 9x12" VENOM Headshot that I also picked up Sunday. It was awesome doing business with 3 Keys Comics at Indiana Comic-Con 2024. In the future, I'll definitely be hitting up their Booths at any Conventions I may attend. Scott Anderson and his son Chase were super friendly, down-to-earth Comic Dealers. It was nice talking with them about Original Art and some of our more recent pick-ups. I definitely recommend doing business with them. It was an all-around great experience 10/10. Social/Sharing |

It really is! Dinosaur people! Every child's dream!
The page is great. I wish the OA had the word bubbles on it...."It's the SAVIOR! OUR SAVIOR HAS RETURNED!" Of course Venom Eddie Brock is their savior. 🤣 🤣
