Description

This one's a keeper! It's not only my 1st Mike Zeck Sketch, but also my 1st IDW Artist Edition Hardcover! Mine is the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive limited to just 125 total. The cover is of the OA from Captain America Annual #8. I'll tell you what. It's never the same reading a comic book, or even an Oversized Hardcover or Omnibus, after reading any issues in these Artist Edition Hardcovers. The details you can see through the OA is astounding.

I received this as a birthday gift from my father for my 30th birthday on April 10th, 2022. This Sutton of Mike Zeck's Artist's Edition doesn't come signed or with a Sketch normally. The original owner I got it from told me that Mike just happened to be at the IDW Booth where they were selling these. It's pretty cool to hear the stories that come along with our pieces of art! 💯

It truly is! It's my only Zeck Sketch, and for that I feel lucky. I didn't get into Sketches until last year. I was messaging with John Beatty last month about if he would be down with signing it, since he did most of Zeck's inking in this book. I also wanted to make sure first before lugging this GIANT 12x17" book to a Convention. I'd like to have him embellish this Punisher Sketch. I think it would really complement the book! That's my plan.
