Description

David told me this was his first Cyclops. He knew early on he wanted the wild optic energy and then settled on the kung-fu pose which I think is great because Scott obviously trained in some form of CQC.

Concussive optic blasting light show! The solid red stands out against the tonal works for the rest of the drawing.

Thank you. I spoke to Dave at NYCC '23 about this piece. He told me he consulted a panel of artists to decide on how to do the optic blasts but he instantly knew he wanted to do the kung fu pose. It's a great piece. I love how the optic blast almost looks like it's living.
