DescriptionAt OAX this year, I brought along a small sketch I did of a sandworm from Beetlejuice. It was nothing crazy and Yams noticed it in the back of my portfolio. I happily gave it to him and was thrilled that someone even showed interest in it! I figured I was going to have to hide it in Eranga or someone's portfolio when they weren't looking.Fast forward three months later, and this beauty just showed up in the mail. Yams did not have to do this in the least, but he did, and that is testament to what a great guy he is! He included a very nice note on the back as well. This Spidey sketch is not only awesome, but one that I will not forget! Who needs a DWJ 6x9, when you have one from Yams!! Sincerest of thanks goes out to the man. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this, it definitely made my day. Social/Sharing |

Fin piece with a strong organic quality...the proporations and line work kind of remind me of Spider-Mab: Reign by Kaare Andrews. Yams also did a lot in that background, including that looming GG up top :) Nice piece and nice gesture - congrats!

Wowza! Life and motion. There's danger, but it's intriguing. Nice one Yams!

There's a man
Who spins the web of life so well
Oh, there's such a Yams
His thoughts you can never tell
Oh, and it's just the way he gift it to me
'Cause the day has come for him Takagi
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up Spidey
I'm alive and I'm here for Tyler
This is from Yams

This is a great story. And who knew that Yams had artistic chops! I really like the colors and loose linework. I think we now know where DWJ gets his ideas from. ;)

Senses are tingling with vibrant action above a sea of skyscrapers as the goblin approaches! Super cool gesture and cool story.
