DescriptionDave Sim Cerebus in Hell? #82 Akimbo #1 Variant Cover Original Art (Aardvark-Vanaheim, 2024). The first Aardvark-Mangaheim (Dave Sim's manga parodies) CIH? issue is being offered first on KickStarter (Jan17-Feb7), in the form of three exclusive Akira parody variant covers. This cover, a parody of Katsuhiro Otomo's original cover for the Marvel/Epic AKIRA #7 cover (here featuring Jaka, "Last Day" Cerebus, and Missy) was suggested by Lee "Tales of the Wedding Present " Thacker and has been dubbed by Sim as "One for Sorrow" after the title of Thacker's groundbreaking 2009 graphic novel. Signed and dated 12-2-2023 by Sim in the lower center. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with a 9" x 11" image area. The logo and framing trade dressing are printed on the 12" x 18" board. In Excellent condition.Social/Sharing |
