Description

Al McWilliams Twin Earths Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 10-10-54 (United Feature Syndicate, 1954). One of Al McWilliams' most stylish comic strips, and that's saying a lot! Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 22.5" x 15.25", the logo is a printed paste-up that has slightly discolored. The board has been scored and folded between tiers to allow mailing to and from the syndicate. Light toning and marginal notes, and paste-up and whiteout text corrections. In Very Good condition.

Standout exuisite inking! It's old school craftsmanship that becomes apparent when attention is focused on the exotic space creatures, rocketships, and the spacegirl close up.
