Description

This is a very nice example of a Bronze Age DC Horror cover by Luis Dominguez, one of the most prominent cover artists on the DC line of Horror comics throughout the 1970s. It appeared on Ghosts #82 (1979) and features a circus trapeze scene with a skeletal ghost joining in on the act. The eerie copy reads "Ladies and Gentlemen, High Above the Center Ring...The Ghost Who Wouldn't Die!" This deadly trapeze story has a thematic similarity to the origin stories of two classic DC heroes, Robin from Detective Comics #38 and Deadman from Strange Adventures #205.
