MAX was there to push things over the edge at Marvel to rid itself of the comics code once and for all. Ennis was the man who would push them off the cliff with his violence and depraved humor, just like he did at DC.

One of Ennis' top three Punisher stories, alongside WELCOME BACK, FRANK and BORN. WBF and BORN being very different tonally, with this following up the new direction set up by BORN. Just awesome comics. Congrats!
