Love all those hands in the first panel too! If I could get a 1200 dpi B&W (not greyscale) tiff of that first panel, I'd love to look at including it in my upcoming Ditko book (and drop your name into the acknowledgements section in the book). This appears to be one of those stories that, as Dave Sim put it, cracked the "Ditko Code." Each panel has a classic Ditko touch to it and enhances the overall effect of the page. Man, I would not want to be that king by the end of this story.

If you look closely at the top right panel you can see that the art has been modified. Apparently the king was originally holding something in his right hand. The comics code must have objected since the offending object has been removed. I'm guessing the edit was made by someone other than Ditko judging by the sloppiness of the correction.
