Description

With all the Spider-verse stuff going on, it�s a pretty cool thing to have a 90s first appearance of an alternate Spider-Man in your hands (Spider-Prime).

When Marvel acquired Malibu, they rebooted the Ultraverse; this Spider-Man crossover with Prime was among the properties in the Black September event. Before he appeared in Prime: Infinity and Prime #1 (Vol. 2) this ad/cover piece by Steven Butler ran in comics and was published in various places advertising the crossover event. Steven mentioned he designed the costume himself (and had to do it all in a day!).

I love Butler's Spidey work. It's very indicative of the era.

Great rarity! A nice reward for those who stuck around for the crossovers as Marvel's biggest crossover stars went over to the Ultraverse towards the end of the imprint! Butler is a notable Spidey artist of the time, so the action was sure to be authentic!
