Here's a fun piece I picked up on Heritage recently. It features the classic Archie characters alongside the Archie logo. The logo is a stat, but all of the character drawings are original art.

Thanks to George Hagenauer for identifying this as having been used for a comics store promo poster from 1987. I've uploaded a scan -- it's a bit wrinkled as it's thin plastic with sticky strips on the back. I'm sure many of us saw this hanging in comics stores in the late 80's to early 90's. The poster is the same size as the artwork so this was published at 100% size. Based on the poster's copyright, I'm guessing this was drawn at some point between 1985 and 1987.

I have a feeling this may have been used for other purposes as well, so please let me know if you've seen it elsewhere. I found a scan of this art online with the addition of more recent Archie characters (scan attached), so it's possible it was re-used for promo purposes more recently than the 80's.

There was no credited artist, but a fellow collector suggested that this might be Dan DeCarlo pencils with Rudy Lapick inks.
