DescriptionA BIG thanks goes out to Marvel artist Carlos Magno for this A2 commission. The character design for Venom reminds me of Insomniac's Spider-Man 2. Also, the power of the character is properly conveyed as we see how big he is in size and scale to Spider-Man. Spidey's forehead plant is not only a great pose, but it also gets him in close. Maybe too close as that tongue has already made its move! Some wonderful execution here from Carlos!Social/Sharing |

Love this image. The only thing that could have made this more fun is if Spidey only had one finger instead of several touching venom. Just to have some contrast from all the intensity that Venom is bringing to the scene.

I'm in lust with this image. Absolutely gorgeous. The composition is wonderful and the finish is impeccable. It's so good it's making me a little bit mad at you.

The only thing Magno did not hyper render is the Venom symbol right in the center of the composition from which all the inky dynamism revolves around!

Mango is a beast and a true up and comer. This is a great piece, I love the size difference between Spidey and Venom - congrats on this T2!

Gotta dig hulking Venom! Magno's rendition kills with those oily, trendrilly, inks mixed with the grey tones. Nice Spidey pose, too, but from the looks of this Venom, he's up against it big time! Congrats, man!
