Another pick up from OAX. Been looking for a Byrne iron Fist for awhile and decided to bite the bullet when I came across Will Gabri-El's booth. One of the few books I collected back in the day and seeing this reminded me of the cover of Iron Fist # 8

As someone who grew up in Central Jersey, I didn't realize anyone was a Fan of it enough to create a fanzine...lol... ;-p

first time seeing a fanzine cover for thispublication! nice Byrne Iron Fist image and solid Chiaramonte inks over him. Great find and Will is great to deal with. congrats!

Byrne's early vintage works have that clean anatomy and direct power! Chiaramonte did a great job enhancing these features to provide a big visual impact.

Fantastic Iron Fist drawing by John Byrne. Byrne was great at drawing powerful characters like Iron Fist, bu the had a lot of practice working on titles like the Uncanny X-Men. I love the muscular torso he gave Danny Rand here, it helps make you believe he could handle himself in any fight. I also love the way Byrne made the power of the Iron Fist more apparent with the visible glow he drew around Danny Rand's fists. You can see that here. John Byrne was a master of comic book art and he really shows it in this portrait. Great pick-up, congrats!
