Other than their domes, this is drawn to play out like any other cop story. Timmons and Palmiotti have that gritty feel of the 90's comics and movies we can all recognize. It's the way it's staged (choreography) and the filter (duo tone) they used made it more immersive in experience. Someone should do a 5 hour youtube talk show about comic art and movies to talk more about this.
