Description

A 9x12 commission as part of the Crimson Fall: The Shore Tower Kickstarter campaign. I saw Derek post one of the limited commission spots had opened up again near the end of the campaign, so I jumped at the opportunity as I knew he was a Miyazaki fan.

Commission tier was for a single character, but I gave Derek free rein to tackle any Miyazaki character or creature of his choosing and he went above and beyond in doing the scene of No-Face trying to tempt Chihiro with gold. Eagle-eyed people can also spot mouse-form B� on her shoulder.

I thuink that's Yu-Bird in there as a fly as well.

Good spot! I'd noticed the fly but hadn't put it together yet.

I was very pleased when I saw Derek post this on his socials indeed! Slowly but surely fleshing out the theme too. Got a fun small specific request in today, a Kushana to accompany my Andrade Nausicaä portrait en route, and a few more artists working with carte blanche I'm most curious to see what they come up with in the future.

The Nausicaa is excellent. I liked how he. put all the patterns into her outfit. both were really strong recent adds to the collection. Can't wait to see the Kushana, alwasy loved the metal arm.
