Description

Originally part of Reanimated: An Exhibition in Celebration of Animation, a group show at Giant Robot Store that ran from July 5th, 2025 - July 20th, 2025.

While I was originally keeping tabs on the Reanimated exhibition at Giant Robot because of the Parakid piece I posted earlier, this one kept me returning to their website in the days after making my intended purchase.

Anyone who's visited my gallery can probably tell Nausicaä is my absolute favourite in Miyazaki's oeuvre, heck I'm even sponsoring a full-on Nausicaä zine, so it's no wonder I fell in love with this piece reminiscent of the scene where the majestic Ohm emerge from the forest's lake.

Looks great! Normally these gallery pieces get snapped up quick by those attending the opening of these exhibits! Just delightful in how these colors feel so natural.

I got lucky in that online had access a couple of hours before official opening I believe, so I was able to swoop in and claim the Parakid as if it was a Felix drop immediately. This one actually got delayed in the mail en route to the gallery, so it was only visible online and I bought it before it actually went up a couple of days after opening.
