DescriptionThis great Chris Achilleos work was originally done for the cover of the Robert E. Howard novel, Almuric in 1976. Interestingly, Chris held onto this piece and in 1992 he reworked to add highlights and more detailed background including savages for the release of his first card set by FPG. It was also featured in his first art book, Beauty and the Beast, as well as his Colossal Card set in 1995.It was purchased directly from the artist in 2004. The oil painting measures an impressive 30" x 20", and it is nicely framed to a size of 35" x 25". It is signed in the lower right corner and is in excellent condition. Social/Sharing |

A great one in the barbrian warrior genre with the main hero Cairn in a war cry pose to rally his rag tag Guras compatriots to charge into victory!
