Description

Jim Lee - Living Laser Character Design Illustration Original Art (c. 1997). Featured here is the original character design for Living Laser by Jim Lee. For the "Heroes Reborn" event, former Marvel artists (then with Image) returned to the company in which they built their super-stardom to reimagine the beginnings of the Marvel Universe.

This reimagining of the Living Laser villain was designed by Lee for Issue #4 of Iron Man, which he was writing, with art by Ryan Benjamin and Saleem Crawford. Various notes and communication from Lee to the head illustrator (Ryan Benjamin) on his character design. Has two signatures by Jim Lee, including his famous artwork signature confirming his original character design, and a standard signature at the bottom of the page. Very unique piece giving a small glimpse in the creative process!

Graphite on 11" x 17" Image Bristol board. In Excellent condition.
