Description

Beautifully illustrated page from Frank Thorne who did the pencils, inks and lettering in this landmark premiere solo issue of Red Sonja! Frank Thorne brings to life Rob Thomas and Clara Noto's story titled: "The Blood of the Unicorn." This gorgeous page features Andar, the sorcerer-priest as he decides that Red Sonja and her mythical unicorn companion must die so he can have eternal life for himself! Wonderful wide final panel of the evil priest and his goons ready to ambush Red Sonja and her unicorn! Illustrated in ink over graphite on standard 11"x17" bristol illustration board. In excellent condition.

Bronze Age gold! First issue spinoff from the red hot Conan series comes Red Sonja and Frank Thorne makes the fantasy world come alive with good and evil in constant struggle!
