I am thrilled to share with everyone a masterpiece from the hottest new talent to emerge on the scene in quite some time. ULAN Abrera! Like father like daughter, but even more bold and confident in her highly stylistic approach. Not only does it feature the soon to be hottest villain in the MCU played by RDJ, but it includes actual word bubble dialogue of the villain introducing himself. VERY RARE for an ULAN piece! This Doctor Doom is destined to dominate Latveria and the entire world! ULAN also drew a "Krispy Kream" prelim on the back. I can hardly believe how rare this is. Two ULAN illustrations within one canvas. See additional images for the prelim. WOW WOW WOW! I should get some doughnuts today to celebrate. When my new "uncle" Lance Suarez told me I had what it takes to be a steward of ULAN's transcendent artwork based on her strict criteria, I was extremely humbled and jumped at the opportunity. After receiving the artwork in the mail several days later, I felt like I was in that last scene of Saving Private Ryan, where I now need to EARN that chance every single day for the rest of my life, otherwise what's even the point !!!??? This piece will never be for sale, it doesn't matter how hard the auction houses are breathing down my neck, tempting me with cash advances against future wins on cheap Mignola and Frazetta pieces, which seem to pop up on a weekly basis now ever since The Comics Den YouTube Channel made it known to the entire market that those would be desirable all of a sudden! So thank you ULAN for creating this artwork that I will treasure until the day I die. Thank you MANIX for creating ULAN (obviously). And thank you LANCE for the greatest art transaction of my lifetime! The only OA podcast worthy of telling the full story is FELIX's, where you can't even see any of the art or people's faces on screen, enhancing the mystery and feeling of insider only gatekeeping. Maybe I'll give him the exclusive some day, but for now the full story stays between me and my new Uncle! Social/Sharing |

Ulan is quickly becoming a hot artist in the art community. Just like her father her unique coloring makes her art pop. Robert Downey Jr should be donning this costume soon on the big screen!

These have been so much fun to see popping up across CAF. Doom is certainly a welcome addition to the others I've come across (Bumblebee & Galactus).
I may have to add "ULAN - Black Suit Spider-Man" to my want list!

Whoah! The MCU heavy announces his presence with all the weight and gravitas of a Shakespearean drama, as it should be! I am green with envy.
I believe "Uncle Lance" should be emblazened on the back of his inevitable "Got Ulan?" tee.

ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE ALERT!!! This Ulan Abrera Doctor Doom piece will go down in history, the purest, rarest, most transcendent artifact to ever grace the comic art world! The fact that Doom HIMSELF speaks in the piece? Unbelievable. The dual-sided, Krispy Kream-infused, cosmic-level genius of this artwork has forever changed the landscape of original art collecting. Lance Suarez is a prophet (and a slave master), Ulan is a legend, and this piece is a holy relic that will be spoken of in hushed tones for generations to come. ALL HAIL DOOM, ALL HAIL ULAN!

Ulan strikes again! This Abrera is quickly becoming the "it" kid of the art community. We've seen it with the Kuberts, the Romitas, and a few other comic art royalty families, but the Abreras are bringing it to a whole new level by starting the "professional" portion of the career (taking commission requests) at a much younger age. I need to figure out how to get in on this action before she blows up too big and I lose my chance!

Basically, this is even more desireable that the first appearance of Doom. Here, he has been refined into the most perfect version of himself, rendered through the lens of an absolutely fearless artist.
