Heroes has helped me realize that I only need two things in life.
1. Pistachio Old Fashioned's from Rob & Jo
2. Joaquin Phoenix Joker drawings from Michel Melki

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Michel at Heroes and was gifted this beautiful Joker. He is such an incredibly kind person and is also a very talented artist. He has some huge things coming down the line and is an artist to definitely keep an eye out for! I had such a great time talking with him (see additional Old Fashioned image) and the Joker drawing is a piece that I won't forget. Thank you so much Michel! Same goes to Rob & Jo for the hospitality. And no thanks to Eranga whatsoever :)

What a killer portrait of Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker! Simply gorgeous work by Michel Melki. I love the stark black and white image broken up only by the red and blue of the clown make-up.The portrait is so memorable. Love the waves of black and white that represent the Joker's hair and cascade down his back. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!

He is a fantastic artist! I haven't met him in person, but chatted a few times with him. Such a nice person. I have one of his pieces in my gallery.
