Description

From one of the most striking visuals in the movie (the battlefield silhouettes). Brilliant piece by Mignola (pre-Hellboy). I bought this one on ebay back in the early 2000s. When I received it I was horrified... The page had been glued to a piece of illustration board! Well, it's framed now and nobody can tell the difference (except ya'll)..
UPDATE 2023: The art detached itself from the board without much fuss, like a dead face hugger from the skull of a crew member of the Nostromo.

I love the juxtaposition between the top and bottom panels (silhouette vs. chiaroscuro), but also the whole flow of the page.
