Description

During the 90s, there were several key moments in the Valiant run that brought its interconnected universe and characters into the mainstream spotlight, most of which occurred before the Acclaim acquisition. While events like Unity, Chaos Effect, and Malev War are often remembered, Secret Weapons stood out on its own merits.

Led by Joe St. Pierre, a key contributor to early Valiant, Secret Weapons was his creation, writing, and art. Though it didn�t receive the best reviews, it was a bold attempt to establish �The Avengers� of the Valiant universe. Many consider it the beginning of the publisher�s decline, but I can�t overlook its strong sales and presence, even if it�s now often found in dollar bins.

Thanks to Dino for letting me add this to my collection�it�s a cherished piece of my love for the 90s Valiant era!

A mighty crossover of Valiant heroes! No doubt St. Pierre and Wiacek made this another Valiant #1 must have to be bought by the long box.

I must have had like 200 copies of this. Late Valiant, but still very cool to see it! Huge congrats!

I remember this well - the patterns and details at the top of this are great and this was during the top of the valiant run - congrats on a key cover

I didn't read much Valiant but I remember seeing this one! Love all of the noodling & shapes in the background. Great to see them fully shine without the colors!

Such an awesome looking cover image, huge congrats dude!! Everytime you post one of these big deal Valiant pick ups I'm both happy for you and sad at myself for having a huge knowledge gap/hole when it comes to Valiant knowledge. I need a crash course/beginners lesson of the essential storylines to read and maybe one day I'll understand something ;)
