Description

Long ago, I purchased the two pages on which Praxian warriors Bela and Gnea debut. Recenty, I was lucky enough to win at auction the two pages immediately following. So, through sheer chance, I now have the entire four page sequence that introduces them. This is the last page in the sequence, which starts with the first page in this gallery.

As the would-be Praxian escapees are dragged back to their cell, the Invid Queen and Tesla disagree on the wisdom of going after the Haydonites, whose technology even the Invid fear. Robotech II: The Sentinels #15, page 17 (1990).

Ink, gray markers, and gouache on 14 X 17 Bristol board. Signed on the back by the artist, Jason Waltrip. Per Jason, "Some nice painted grassy ground here for the surface of Praxis, just like a real animated cartoon background.�
