Description

British artist Danny Flynn's surreal take on the desert "Bug Planet" for this wrap-around cover of Heinlein's Starship Troopers (New English Library, 1987). Image also appears in Danny's art book from Paper Tiger.
Danny recently found this piece after it had been missing for nearly 20 years. It was "hidden" behind some other artwork and retains it's amazing color after all these years.

Love how this was found decades later. I have the original covers to the comic series so very cool to see this as well. Congrats!

Th colors are so vibrant! That rainbow atmosphere is so great! I guess it has insect constructs that will come out of the caves of that mountain to swarm any intruding force!
