DescriptionLast week I posted the fantastic Ed McGuinness covers to Amazing Spider-Man #50 and #52, so here is the one in the middle! Please click on the links below to check out the covers to #50 and #52. I love the design of this cover, with the Sinister Six peering through the outline of Spider-Man's mask and surrounding webbing. In this issue, Spider-Goblin appears in costume for the first time and one by one takes out each member of the Sinister Six. The Avengers appears in this issue as well ... but not really. More on that in a later post. Thanks for looking! ASM 50 cover ASM 52 cover Social/Sharing |

This might be my favorite from the story arc to date! I love the layout and design with the placement of each of the S6 and the way Ed incorporated the face in the webbing. Too cool!

Love that shot of the Sinister Six, especially Electro posed above the eyes. The mask & webs over the characters is such a great touch as well. Awesome pick up, congrats!

Electro's pose is my favorite too. In my mind, he's poised to do one of those famous 'Karate Kids crane kicks.' :-)

Posted the burger between the buns, issue #51 cover :) Got the S6 here as rendered by McGuinness, which is enough, but love the design element of the Spidey mask and the webs overlaying...nice way to give the cover that much more POP. Congrats, man!

No Spidey, but the classic Six by Ed is more than enough. Absolutely killer cover my friend. Major congrats!

Well you could say he's there in spirit (or more accurately 'in eyes holes and web outline'). You can tell from the expressions on the Sinister Six's faces that they definitely think of Spidey as an 'eyes hole.' Maybe even a 'fargin' eyes hole.' 😁 Took me a while, but I finally got there -- Long live Johnny Dangerously! Hahaha! (And let's face it, the Sinister Six are a bunch of fargin' sneaky bastages).

This is a spectacular Sinister Six cover, but I have to say that in my opinion it is the Spider-Man maskand webbing that take this piece and put it over the top. Spectacular! Amazing! Web of!

I agree completely -- the mask and webbing makes this one really stand out. And by the way, "Web of!" is actually a very apt (though funny) superlative for this one :-)

Villains behind a literal Spidey net. I love the way he was able to create depth with this image.
