Description

A Bruce McCorkindale recreation, about which he commented - "we have a new contender for 'most difficult cover re-creation ever.' It's Bernie Wrightson's wrap-around cover for DC SPECIAL SERIES #2. I'm pretty awestruck how well Bernie captured tonal ranges with that crazy linework. Up close, it can just seem like a lot of lines; at a distance, there's an incredible harmony to it all." Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board.
