Doctor Strange Commission

Yes, it's a Marvel character, but still a pretty fitting one for the "spooky season" theme here in October, as Doctor Strange works on a "strange brew" alchemy style with a cauldron and various ingredients, alongside some floating candles while studying up with a book of magic to protect the world from darkness!

Thanks to my friend and artist Derrick Tharp, who also goes by the moniker Tricky Trapster. I've got a few pieces by him in my gallery and have given his commissions to friends as gifts as well. He's super talented and very affordable. Check him out on Instagram @trickytrapster

Some fun touches in this Dr. Strange piece, especially the tentacle (tongue?) emerging from the cauldron and those floating candles.

Ancient art fits for Tricky here
You could almost think that you're agamotto
On the cold, Tharp lines and the finished care

Gotta hurry on back to my old spell room
Where I got me a Strange with a tricky Marvel work to tease
He promised he'd brew there Tricky
When I paint my Trapster piece

Even as a Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen shows that ya gotta put in the work ... and follow the recipe if you can. Really like this one, especially the floating candles.
