Description

I first discovered Sam Taylor's art when he was doing art for the craft beer collective and online magazine, Hop Culture. Sam did art for their beer glasses and merchandise and he has an undeniably fun cartoon style. Some of the glass designs are works of art in themselves and are worth a look.

When I realized he did a piece from John Carpenter's The Thing, I was immediately excited! It makes for the perfect blend of cartoon fun and horror. The film takes place on the frozen tundra of Antarctica, but this piece screams nothing but rainbow sherbet. Oh, the horror!

Strawberry, lemon, berry punch and tropical punch colors will make us associate the flavors of our youth with this color palette. Juxtaposes and confuses the mind when used for the gross out theme!

certainly an eye catching and great looking piece, those colors just pop. I either want some sort of crazy ice cream combo or a pack of Skittles after looking at this piece haha. really cool stuff
