Description

Here's a very special addition to my collection. Todd McFarlane's run of cover art for Marvel Tales #223-239 was memorable for me and I'm very fortunate to be able to add a second cover from this set. Marvel Tales #226 reprints Amazing Spider-Man #91 which is a story titled "To Smash The Spider" focusing on the aftermath of the death of Captain Stacy.

Great spotlight cover that looks like a play on ASM #70 with the bricks! The UPC box Spidey is like Todd showing his gnarled fingers after working so much detail into this piece!
