DescriptionSpectacular Spider-Men is a brilliant new series that develops the relationship between the two Spider-Men Peter Parker and Miles Morales, drawn by the amazing artistic team of Humberto Ramos and Victor Olazaba. In issue #1, they battled a hulked out Jackal, and this issue they hit the sewers and come across VERMIN! Well not just Vermin, but a bunch of Vermin clones. I LOVE this splash page. That top panel where Vermin leaps over the heads of Peter and Miles (such a sense of speed, you can feel the wind of his passing), and then the splashy panel where Vermin lands and faces our heroes. So cool! Social/Sharing |

Sewers down n' dirty, Olazaba dream
I've seen from one two of Spider extreme
This time I had a good line, ain't got time to wait
Humberto sticks around till I can't see straight
Feel my Miles with that tunnel vision, no disguise for that tunnel Vermin
Ooh, web it gets through to me, it's always new to me
My tunnel vision gets the best Spideys

Spectacular page!!! Not only do you have bricks, bricks and more bricks, but Humberto did a fantastic job rendering Vermin! Plus 2 Spideys?? Fun stuff!!!

Look, I love the animalistic looking Vermin in the splash panel as much as anyone else, especially as this is the only time this lame villain has been portrayed as NOT lame and a potential threat, but I also LOVE the top panel because of the brilliant technique used by Ramos. Sweet!

Absolutely agree, man, what setup for the splash. The top image kills in and of itself but then you get a super menacing Vermin right after. Love how a lot of him is shadowed in, with light source from above providing a lot of detail for the hair. Like I said, Humberto and Victor went all out in these first couple issues! And you of course had to nab some :) Congrats!
