The artist:
Ronald, a native of Staten Island, New York, is a Pratt Institute summa cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Throughout his career, Ron has worked as a freelance illustrator for clients from all fields of publishing and the media: television, magazines, textbooks, advertising, trade books, mass market books, professional journals, professional and medical organizations, electronic books, and game companies.

About the piece:
Tolkien began the more modern use of the English term "orc" to denote a race of evil, humanoid creatures. Ron�s perspective shows Gothmog with a monkey-like face, ready to deliver a deadly blow. A piece full of color and energy.
