About the artist:
Donato Giancola, born in 1967 in Colchester, Vermont, blends modern concepts with figurative realism, bridging contemporary and historical narrative arts. Influenced by museums like the Uffizi and Louvre, he contributes to the narrative genre through teaching at the Illustration Master Class and SmArt School. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 1992, he worked with Vincent Desiderio and immersed himself in New York's art scene. Since 1993, Giancola has worked with top clients like Lucasfilm, DC Comics, and Microsoft, earning prestigious awards, including three Artist Hugo Awards.

About the art:
One of the first artworks Donato did for Mtg game.
The painting is incredibly realistic, with hundreds of details and textures, both in the skin and in the character's ornaments.
One of Donato's best works for the game.
It�s rare to see original Donato paintings for sale, as his more recent pieces are sold to private collectors even before Donato publishes them on his website.
