DescriptionThanks to George Hagenauer alerting me to its availability and to Peter Birkemoe who sold it, I have recently purchased a large folio of artwork and story manuscripts connected to one completed story for BETTIE PAGE COMICS #1 and one unpublished story intended for the same title.This is the finished second page of the "Sandbar Skirmish" story written by Dave Stevens (& Gilbert Hernandez) penciled and inked by Tony Meers. In the "additional images" you can see a photocopy of the pencils Tony Meers sent to Dave Stevens for his approval prior to final rendering and inking. Social/Sharing |

Some great iconic poses in the panels here! They show Bettie's playful nature that made her pin ups so much more captivating than your monthly centerfold girl.
