Love the detail that went into this, as Finch gets up close and personal with walker feeding time. Gaudy and gruesome. Everything you'd want in a Shocktober piece. Finch really should do more horror-oriented work.

Finch packs in the undead and places us right up close for all his details of rotting skin and flesh to make us feel squeamish!

Yes! Gritty gory goodness from Finch. Unreal detail here, man...I'm sure you've pored over lots. What a harrowing scene...in a great way! Congrats!

Absolutely revolting David Finch Walking Dead Deluxe cover! I mean that in the best sense. David draws some the most detailed and intricately inked covers I've ever seen and when he applies that talent to draw walkers, the results are somewhat...gross. There has always been an element of yuckiness to the Walking Dead TV show, what with decaying bodies and flesh-earing zombies, but that has not always been the case with the comic book. But David's work is so realistic that when he draws a Walking Dead cover, it make me feel a bit nauseous. This is a fairly disgusting cover, but I think that's a good thing.
