Description

I always loved the cover to 21st Century Tank Girl #2 and went hunting for the original art for it. After some digging and discussing, I found out from Brett Parson that the cover was done digitally and there was no traditional pencil/ink version of it. Fast forward several months later and Brett opened up his commission list through Inky Knuckles, I talked with Cam and Brett about doing this cover traditionally (since no OA existed for it) and Brett was on board with revisiting this cover and putting it to paper. The referenced art was also used on the cover for Dirty Old Tank Girl later. I was very happy to get this done as I was a big fan of the cover art and I'd much rather have a hand drawn "redo" version of the cover versus a 1/1 monoprint or some other digital substitute.
